A substantial 2 storey timber framed extension was added to a cottage in Dorset.

The new building included a kitchen which could be opened up to the garden via folding/sliding doors and large areas of glazing, directly applied to the green oak frame.

Further to the kitchen the downstairs included a utility room with stairs up to the bedroom.

The roof was covered in reclaimed plain tiles to match the original house.
